At times, life has so many stressors, it is difficult to know where to begin. T.E.A.M., your Employee Assistance Program (EAP), is here to assist you and your eligible family members with personal problems, both large and small, that interfere with your day-to-day activities. Listed below are several free and confidential services available to you to help you overcome your obstacles and achieve your goals.

Child Care: TEAM provides assistance with issues from infancy to 18 years old. Specifically in regards to childcare, adoption information, developmental concerns, behavioral difficulties and education concerns.

Crisis Counseling: TEAM has counselors available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for crisis and non-crisis calls.

Elder Care: TEAM is here to help you and your loved ones find solutions to caring for elderly family members and aging needs such as assisted and independent living, community services, legal concerns and home health.

Face-to-Face Problem Resolution: A highly qualified and caring counselor will partner with you on establishing and implementing goals to resolve your personal and professional issues. If your goals require longer-term work or treatment that is more specialized, your counselor will provide you with valuable resources and referrals within your community.

Financial: You and your covered family members are entitled to a no cost telephone consultation with a seasoned financial counselor and licensed CPA (30 to 60 minutes per issue). A discount is available for additional financial counseling as well as referrals to local organizations for more complex financial planning concerns. Some of the many topics covered include budgeting, credit counseling, financial planning, investments and loans/mortgages.

Legal: You and your covered family members are eligible for one initial 60-minute telephone or in-person consultation with an attorney for a variety of issues, including business concerns, civil matters, IRS matters, personal and family, real estate and wills and estate planning. If you decide to retain the attorney after the initial consultation, you will receive a 25% discount off the attorney’s normal hourly rate.

Work/Life Services: TEAM sponsors a website that offers a variety of resources that are tailored to specific needs and provides you with the right tools to help you through some of life’s toughest challenges including informational articles, forms, videos, calculators, resource locator and assessments.
